ARCHITECTURE AND USE CASE
OPAL consists of a number of calculation modules and a datenbase
including the catalog data of about 3000 motors of the
most European manufacturers. For pump and fan drive systems
OPAL calculates the yearly energy consumption and cost
based on the specified load cycle, the operating
hours and the electricity price.
Consequently different saving actions such as replacement of
components or variable speed operation can be
analyzed and compared with each other.
